The Beatles and The Rolling Stones would be a tie.
Practically any song be either group.
The night my former brother-in-law, Kenny Higalgo and I nearly got arrested trying to rescue Shelia Williams who was walking home from an after wedding party ( Sherry Williams ). We tried to get her into the car as she was a long way from home, she had too much to drink, and she had a fight with her boyfriend. She would not get in until the cops started arriving because someone had reported that 2 men were trying to put a woman into a car against her will. Upon seeing the cops she jumped in the car and there we were surrounded. It took a while but luckily some of the officers knew us, but they would only let us go if they escorted us to the William's home.
I still think about that incident and now can laugh about it.
I do not often think
" back " or second guess my past decisions. However, I now realize that there were some opportunities while attending MCHS that perhaps I should have expressed more interest in. Developing more and better relationships with fellow students would be one such missed opportunity.
After graduating from LSU in 1971 I briefly worked in the Morgan City area ( recruited by Sewart Seacraft ). I then moved to Jacksonville, FL where I lived for 8 years and was mentored by someone who molded my career future. I returned to the Morgan City area until my career path made a move to the New Orleans area. Fortunately, that is where is finally met my soul mate, Jeanine.

After reaching and surviving many milestones in my life, I can honestly say that I have had a very good life. I continue to enjoy a truly great family and many wonderful friends. I am always amazed at the rapid advances in science and technology, but am saddened that so many human beings have remained so narrow minded and prejudiced. We can only do our best to maintain happiness within ourselves and hope thaose around us can do the same. Enjoy, tolerate, and celebrate diversity.

Births of my children and grandchildren
I am very happy and have enjoyed a great life. I married my high school sweetheart, Gil. We have 3 children and enjoy 3 grandchildren.
I married, graduated from college, traveled a bit, and enjoyed a career as a teacher for 38 years. (Remarkably, Gil was a coach and teacher at the same school.) After retirement, I enjoyed keeping my grandchildren and when they entered school, I applied for what I thought was a part-time position, and ended up becoming director for Morgan City Public Library.

I guess in high school it was when a few of us girls made fudge added xlax to it and gave poor Mr Francis some while riding the bus to an out of town game. Shame on us but it was funny. Most Memorable would be my wedding July 1, 1967 to my high school sweetheart Brent who I dated 4 years before we married.
Not that I would change anything but I would probably do things a little different like would have gone to school for nursing.
Army life 67-70 with Brent. 70-77 moved around because of his work. 77-83 moved to Saudi Arabia for his work, we loved it there. Sept 84 to present in the Youngsville/Broussard area.

My life changed the day my husband and I made Jesus Lord of our lives, we started a journey that has brought us much joy and peace. We have a blessed life and very thankful for it.
The main thing I would have was respect and obey my parents more and taken time making decisions on right and wrong. Just because others do it doesn't make it right.
In 69 graduated from nursing school. I was married for 8yrs then divorced, with a son Brian. Remarried to Herchell Angeron,he graduated from Berwick High in 67.together we had a daughter,Leah,In 1993 we moved to Little Rock.I worked for Baptist Hospital, retired in 2014.Have been going back and forth to MC for years to visit all my family.Herchell and I have been married for 38yrs and are enjoying our 2 children and 6 grandchildren. We still fly our purple and gold Flag in razorback country. GO Tigers

MoTown Artists:
Supremes, Four Tops, Temptations. Music had so much rhythm and soul. I also like the Delta Blues.
Most memorable was getting my Ph.D. from Missouri.
Being named Miss MCHS was also a great hone and memory.
Memorable times also include snow skiing trips. Great beauty and such joy.
Make smarter choices about life and relationships. Knowing what career was best for me at a much earlier stage in life would have been great!
Living in my favorite city, Lafayette. dancing and enjoying the culture of this area. Still working which keeps me busy but dancing is my greatest joy and I do that as often as possible. Living life dancing to the song in my heart. Dance first and think later. Live well, laugh often and love much.....suits me perfectly.
